After Effects was born of greed and lust. A seedy nightclub hidden deep in the underground of Tokyo's crime district, Shinjuku. Once an abandoned building, it was brought back to glory by a ninkyō dantai; its members feared by many and the beauty of its dancers seen by few. The back room became a thing of legend, stories told of the never ending flow of narcotics. The leader, though young, guides his men with with the wisdom passed down from his father. Members of After Effects are a small number of privleged men hand picked by the leader, Aiji. Through their devotion and dangerous work they are granted the pleasures of the nightclub. To them its liquor flows endlessly, sins of the flesh are plentiful and drugs are provided without question. this is their story...
